Job description
Must be familiar with the provisions of the Destitute Persons Act and the Destitute Person (Welfare Home) Rules.
Ensure the safe custody of residents.
Supervise and manage the staff in the department
Prepare and plan staff and doctors’ roster
Ensure that Staff Nurse / Assistant Nurse attend the BCLS
Attend to Board of Visitors’ (BOV) visits.
• Attend BOV and other MSF related meetings when needed.
• Attend to BCM matters.
Participate in the yearly budget of the Home.
Maintain good nursing practices in the Home
Ensure that all incidents and events of residents are properly recorded and reported.
Sit in for residents’ misbehaviour conference with Director and other colleague concern.
Ensure that staff, who are the Individual Care Plan (ICP) managers of the incident cases follow-up with counselling reports of the residents concerned.
Participate in the ICP development of residents concerned.
Ensure the cleanliness of the home and medical / nursing of residents.
Ensure residents go for their medical appointment
Ensure RMRs are up-to-date and signed
Update monthly categorisation of residents
Follow up on re-categorisation of residents in June and December
Ensure pharmacy audit are conducted every 6 month
Ensure that oxygen concentrator servicing are done every 6 month
Any other duties as assigned by management.

Bachelor Degree in
Minimum 3- 5 Years Exeperience handling staff
