Job description

Assist the manager of the SAC in

Programme Co-ordination:

  • Provide logistic support for activities and wellness programmes that focus on building the elderly’s self-help capacity including
  • On-site active ageing programmes which may be recreational/ social and cognitive in nature sometimes in collaboration with external providers
  • Organising and Participation in community events and outings

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain a daily register of seniors who participate in activities and programmes at the Centre.
  • Maintain data for submission
  • Assist with money collection, issue receipts, maintenance of petty cash and requisition of centre supplies
  • Provide support to the centre cleaner to promote and maintain the cleanliness of the centre
  • Ensure centre maintenance tasks are done regularly, eg. Aircon servicing, LEW reviews etc.

Volunteer Engagement

  • Encourage senior participation and volunteerism through promotion of senior initiated and implement activities and ideas
  • Assist the Volunteer Management Executive to engage volunteers to run programmes and activities
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 'O' Level holder or ITE diploma holder
  • Any relevant diploma in social services (Example) Minimum “N” or “O” Level qualification
  • Physically Fit
  • Good interpersonal communications skills
  • Team member skills
  • Technical Competencies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
