Job description

The Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition & Care (SM-TATC) exhibits a keen understanding of the organisation’s mission, vision and strategy, provide dynamic solutions using experience and data analyses (if available). He or she will provide consultation and coaching to people leaders - in order to support MWS’ vision, mission and overall objectives.

  • The SM – TATC partners with the organisation’s leadership teams to foster and promote the engagement of MWS’ core values.
  • Assists people leaders in resolving employee relation issues, conducting effective investigations and recommending action for sensitive and complex situations.
  • Coach people leaders in performance management processes, compensation and remuneration programmes, recruitment practices and management decision making
  • The SM-TATC will be a critical member in organisation wide initiatives, actively participating in project teams while simultaneously ensuring proper communication and collaboration within centres and Corporate Services departments and with her team
  • Responsible for talent management and leadership development across the organisation
  • Consistently coach, mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential
  • Build a talent strategy that meets the needs of the organisation, including diversity, talent brand and operational excellence
  • Drive technology, process, and teamwork efforts to enhance the recruitment process and drive innovation and efficiency

Job Requirements
  • A University or Masters Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or any other related field
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience preferably in a HR Business Partner role managing teams and in acquisition/recruitment
  • Experience in effectively hiring, inspiring and development talent
  • Ability to drive results
  • Demonstrates executive communication skills, influence and a growth mindset
  • knowledge of Singapore’s labour laws and practices including knowledge of people management policies and procedures
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and be discreet when dealing with confidential information and ability to handle multiple projects
  • Strong understanding of talent and competency models, recruitment fundamentals and competitive market awareness and online/social media
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of work tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
