Duties and responsibilities Assist the Manager of the SAC in the following areas:-
i. Active ageing programmes, on-site or virtual, which may be recreational/ social and cognitive in nature, sometimes in collaboration with external providers. This includes community events and outings. ii. Evaluate the effectiveness/outcome of the programme and service level.
Administrative Duties i. Maintain a daily register of seniors who participate in activities and programmes at the Centre. ii. Maintain data current in the system. iii. Assist with membership fee/ donation collection, issue receipts, and requisition of centre supplies. iii. Provide support to the centre cleaner to promote and maintain the cleanliness of the centre according to National Environmental Agency’s Environmental Sanitation Programme. iv. Ensure Centre’s maintenance tasks are done regularly, eg. Aircon servicing, pest control servicing, LEW reviews etc.
Volunteer Engagement i. Encourage senior participation and volunteerism through promotion of senior’s initiated ideas with senior co-partnering in implementation. ii. Assist the Volunteer Management Executive to engage volunteers to run programmes and activities.
Qualifications 1. Minimum 'O' Level holder or ITE diploma holder 2. Any relevant diploma in social services
