Job description

Job purpose

To provide support to the Procurement Manager in the implementation of sourcing strategy through the execution of Request For Proposals (RFP) / Request For Quotation (RFQ) process.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assist with sourcing, negotiating and purchasing of materials for all centres

  • Facilitate the Tender Evaluation meeting with the pre-determined evaluation criteria and weightage

  • Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors for contracts.

  • Responsible for the entire Procurement process, monitoring from Requirement Gathering to Release of Purchase Orders/ Letter of Award

  • Manage project timeline, stakeholders and communications between end user and vendor.

  • Assist Procurement Manager with vendor assessment

  • Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and independent worker

  • Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude

  • Able to work well under stress in a fast paced environment

  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Procurement or equivalent

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Procurement

Working conditions

  • Office environment and working with key personnel at the various MWS centres
