Job description

As a member of the HR Team, this role will be responsible for MWS’s talent pipeline while ensuring the best candidate experience for both internal and external candidates. Due to the nature of our operations, MWS has a high foreign worker workforce, you will be responsible for the sourcing, recruitment & application of work passes. In this role, you will establish the resource needs of stakeholders, understand external trends in the market, engage and evaluate talents for roles and manage negotiations through to close.


Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and advertise jobs at appropriate employment advertising portals
  • Source and entice candidates by using internal databases, social media, community resources
  • Screen qualified candidates’ resumes and job applications
  • Review salary proposals for the positions offered through various benchmarking methods and escalating them to senior team members for their approval
  • Make salary offers and engage in salary negotiations
  • Manage manpower supply agency and handle the full cycle of foreign worker recruitment (including the application of relevant work passes as per legislative requirements)
  • Follow through with the pre-employment process such as contract signing and onboarding preparations
  • Participate in campus and career fairs; provide support to campus partnership team
  • Attend scholarships and internship interviews, screen and select candidates
  • Manage scholarship administrative documents for selected candidates
  • Maintain relationship with key suppliers and third party vendors, including preferred sourcing partners (e.g. search firms, recruitment agencies, education institutions, etc.)
  • Familiar and well versed with all recruitment-related government grants (e.g. MSF, MOH, etc) and is responsible for the application and administration of these grants.
  • Create & maintain Hiring dashboards & reports for seamless tracking across the hiring life cycle
  • Manage entire hiring process through MWS's Recruitment Management System (HRIQ)

  • Must have 1 to 3 years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting
  • Ability to work towards agreed targets with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in creating & maintaining hiring dashboards & reports for seamless tracking across the hiring life cycle
  • Strong knowledge of Employment Act and TAFEP Guidelines
  • Strong sense of integrity and professionalism
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Good business acumen
  • Ability to work across levels
  • IT Savvy
  • Hands-on experience in sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Google searches, social media, networking events, and other creative tools and platforms
  • Experience in using insights and data to analyze recruitment trends and advise recommendation with regards to talent sourcing
