Responsibilities
To handle cases with family and marital issues
To run group work and programme for couples undergoing through divorce
To run group work and programme for children whom parents are undergoing through divorce
To complete all administrative tasks required for casework and counseling
To be involved in setting up structures and processes within the department when necessary
To lead ad-hoc tasks and projects by the agency when required
To be able to work with partners and stakeholders when required
To manage critical incidents and risks when it occurred within cases
To provide field supervision for students on placement
Possessing the relevant qualification such as Bachelor/ Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work
At least 3 years relevant experience in the social service sector doing social work or counseling
Registered counselor with SAC preferred
Willing to learn and undergoing trainings for marital and family counseling
Willing to handle risk cases and critical incidents required in casework and counseling
Good analytical skills with a critical mind
A team player
Able to multi-task and work independently
Proficient in written and oral communication, especially English
Working Conditions
Full time
5 days work week, 44 hours per week
Office sessions and home visits required
