Job description
Assist the manager of the SAC in
Programme Co-ordination:
Provide logistic support for activities and wellness programmes that focus on building the elderly’s self-help capacity including
On-site active ageing programmes which may be recreational/ social and cognitive in nature sometimes in collaboration with external providers
Organising and Participation in community events and outings
Administrative Duties
Maintain a daily register of seniors who participate in activities and programmes at the Centre.
Maintain data for submission
Assist with money collection, issue receipts, maintenance of petty cash and requisition of centre supplies
Provide support to the centre cleaner to promote and maintain the cleanliness of the centre
Ensure centre maintenance tasks are done regularly, eg. Aircon servicing, LEW reviews etc.
Volunteer Engagement
Encourage senior participation and volunteerism through promotion of senior initiated and implement activities and ideas
Assist the Volunteer Management Executive to engage volunteers to run programmes and activities
Job Requirements
Minimum 'O' Level holder or ITE diploma holder
Any relevant diploma in social services (Example) Minimum “N” or “O” Level qualification
Physically Fit
Good interpersonal communications skills
Team member skills
Technical Competencies
Proficient in Microsoft Office
